This Atlas is addressed both to clinical and surgical gastroenterologists and to all other physicians including medical students who wish to increase their practical knowledge in the area of gastrointestinal endoscopy. While presenting advanced information to gastroenterologists and trainees it also provides basic knowledge to students and generalists.

What's in the Atlas?
The Atlas is made on the ideal that medical education should be beautiful, enjoyable, entertainingly and presented in a simple and accessible manner. The integration of text and graphics in an easy-to-use standard format makes this Atlas very comfortable to browse. Thousands of high quality full color endoscopic images with plenty of animation and videos supported with informative text illustrate the majority of endoscopic findings and procedures of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract.
The atlas is devided into four sections:
1. Esophagus | |
| The esophagus section is divided into the following subsections: Normal esophagus, Structural anomalies, Esophageal diverticula, Esophagitis, Barrett's esophagus, Esophageal neoplasias, Miscellaneous disorders, Bleeding and hemostasia, Endoscopic procedures. The section also contains videos, a self-test and image recognition feature. |
2. Stomach | |
| The stomach section is divided into the following subsections: Normal stomach, Post-surgical appearances, Gastritis, Ulcus, Neoplasias, Advanced gastric cancer, Miscellaneous disorders, Bleeding. The section also contains videos, a self-test and image recognition feature. |
3. Duodenum | |
| The duodenum section is divided into the following subsections: Normal duodenum, Post-surgical appearances, Acid peptic disorders, Miscellaneous disorders, Neoplasias. The section also contains videos, a self-test and image recognition feature. |
4. Colon | |
| The colon section is divided into the following subsections: Normal Colon, Post-surgical appearances, Diverticular disease, Inflammation, Infections, Neoplasias, Hereditary Conditions, Stenoses, Miscellaneous disorders, Rectum and anal region, Bleeding, Endoscopic Procedures. The section also contains videos, a self-test and image recognition feature. |
